Tom Price Bakery in Tom Price has a unique opportunity for a skilled and experienced baker to join our team.
As a baker with Tom Price Bakery, you will be baking traditional and quality bread made from scratch using 100% Aussie Wheat and delivering products that our customers have grown to love.
We are looking for Bakers who:
• Have trade qualifications (Certificate III/IV) in a relevant field and/or equivalent years of work experience
• Have proven qualification or experience in the baking industry and compliance with food, safety & hygiene requirements
• Can produce high quality bread and pastry products.
• Adept at recording all daily production information
• Can calculate and weigh ingredients for all dough types
• Can Mix, scale and mould all bakery products
• Are proficient in the use of the oven
• Operate bakery equipment and machinery in a safe manner
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and personal presentation in accordance with Tom Price Bakery and MIB Bakeries' guidelines
• Manage spoilage, turnover,



and inventory of stocks including raw ingredients and goods as per company guidelines as instructed by the Store Manager
• Supervise train and mentor Baking Apprentices
• Comply with daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and routines
• Complete baking duties in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Strictly observe all Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
• Always provide a high standard of service to customers
• Prepare/serve food and beverages to quality and company standards
• Use cash registers and EFTPOS machines competently
• Maintain a clean and tidy appearance including uniforms
• Behave in a manner that is always professional
• Maintain a good working relationship with fellow team members
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Has a passion for baking and customer service
• Is energetic and has an outgoing personality
• Works well as part of a team
• Has excellent time management skills
An excellent salary package in the $77,000 - $82,000 range will be negotiated with the right person.
This position also includes accommodation and any relocation expenses.
