Mike Griggs Caravan Crash and Service is looking for a reliable and motivated Tradesperson to join our team.
We have a strong reputation for quality workmanship and customer service.
We are a 3rd generation family business and are committed to servicing the Caravan Industry of South Australia.
We are RAA-approved and complete many insurance repairs for RAA and many other insurance companies.
About the role
Handyman experience is required, and on-the-job training will also be provided.
If you are semi-retired or looking for just a few hours per day, we would love to hear from you.
You'll work alongside a skilled and supportive team while also being trusted to complete tasks independently.
What we're really looking for is someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, solid attention to detail, and pride in producing quality workmanship.
Employment Type: Casual - Approximately 3 days per week (negotiable) with days to be agreed upon.
As part of our workshop team, your duties may include:
Caravan repairs and maintenance.
Assisting with water damage repairs and structural rebuilds.
Fitting and replacing caravan components and accessories.
General workshop duties and housekeeping.
Working safely and efficiently to meet quality standards.
Desirable skill sets (but not essential)




Experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:
Must be competent in working with power & hand tools
Mechanical knowledge (particularly caravan experience)
Carpentry or cabinetry
Sheet metal fabrication
Furniture repairs and modifications
12V electrical installations and repairs
Welding and metal fabrication
General plumbing
Sheeting and cladding

About you
Hold a current C-class driver's license
Are reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
Good verbal communication skills
Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn new skills.

Have excellent attention to detail.
Be committed to maintaining a safe and tidy workplace.
Be competent using a range of power tools and hand tools.
