Position Summary: We are seeking Level 2,3 &4 Engineers (Systems, Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace, Asset Management and Electronic) to provide engineering services in a Defence workplace associated with requirements engineering, engineering metrics, integration engineering, Verification and Validation, test and evaluation, and technical performance measures.
They need to lead and manage assigned staff and resources to achieve high quality outcomes for the client, in accordance with the client's key performance indicators within the budget.
They develop relationships with client contract managers and Forge stakeholders, coordinate information sharing, decision making and resource allocation.

Experience ( (Demonstrated with examples: 3 to 15 years, varying by level)Working in the Defence and Federal Government SectorApplying engineering techniques, skills and knowledge to engineering tasks and disciplines Vocational experience in management and/or consultancy rolesAnalytical and problem-solving approach to tasks, including the ability to develop a range of practical options for issue resolutionManaging client/supervisor and delivery of services and engineer work packages and products to clients/supervisorManagement of teams, people and work in the Defence sector or Consultancy professionApplication of engineering disciplines within the context of project management (including: risk management, resource management, and governance)QUALIFICATIONSEssential: Systems Engineering degree or equivalent Engineering degree and relevant experienceEssential: Active Australian Government security clearance at minimum of BaselinePreferable: Chartered Engineer status, or equivalentPreferable: Prince 2, MSP or similar project management qualificationsPreferable: MBA or equivalent commercial knowledge and experiencePreferable: Public Sector Procurement or equivalent
