About the role
The Senior Procurement & Contracts Advisor plays a pivotal role within Keystart's procurement and corporate services function.
Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, this position provides specialist end-to-end procurement expertise with a primary focus on Keystart's technology portfolio, supporting major digital transformation initiatives, ICT sourcing activities, and supporting and enabling strategic contract management with Contract Owners.
The role is responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant, and commercially sound procurement outcomes across the full sourcing lifecycle, from procurement strategy development and market engagement through to contract execution and supplier performance management and reporting.
Working closely with the technology teams as well as broader business units, the Senior Procurement and Contracts Adviser ensures procurement activities are aligned with Keystart's strategy, legislative obligations, and contemporary best practice.
As part of a small team this hands-on position also contributes with end-to end enterprise-wide procurement initiatives, including category management, panel arrangements, modern slavery compliance and contribution to lifting our Modern Slavery maturity, onboarding and ongoing supplier due diligence, and corporate services support.
About You
Relevant experience delivering end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities, including the development of complex tender documentation, evaluation processes, and contract award, preferably within a technology or ICT category context.
Sound knowledge and practical application of procurement legislation, policy, and probity frameworks
Proven ability to develop and implement category management strategies, including spend analysis, supplier segmentation, and panel establishment and management.
Experience in strategic contract management, including supplier performance monitoring, variation management, and risk identification and mitigation.
Demonstrated understanding of up-to-date slavery legislative obligations and supplier due diligence frameworks, with experience applying these in a procurement context.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality procurement documentation, reports, and briefings for senior audiences.
Advanced skills and experience with procurement and contract management systems, and Microsoft 365 tooling including SharePoint and Power BI.
