What you'll be doing Responsibilities will vary according to your area of expertise, but may include:
producing and maintaining technical, engineering and project documentation throughout the system lifecycle developing governance artefacts, executive reporting, implementation plans and technical guidance coordinating technical delivery activities, schedules, dependencies, risks and project reporting managing engineering baselines, controlled documentation and configuration items supporting configuration audits, document reviews and engineering assurance activities maintaining traceability between requirements, design, implementation and operational documentation working closely with engineers, architects and project managers to ensure technical information remains current, accurate and fit for purpose supporting engineering change processes and release governance contributing to project controls, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

configuration control, transparent governance and effective coordination between technical and delivery teams.
You'll likely have experience supporting complex ICT, engineering or Defence projects where accuracy, accountability and structured delivery are critical to successful outcomes.Experience across several of the following will be highly regarded:
Technical Writing Project Delivery Coordination Configuration Management Technical Data Management Document Control Engineering Governance Requirements Traceability Change Control Configuration Baselines Release Management Project Reporting Microsoft Office Suite SharePoint Confluence Jira Azure DevOps IBM DOORS or similar requirements management platforms ITIL, Agile or SAFe delivery environments Experience working within Defence, National Security, engineering or other highly regulated environments will be viewed favourably.The person we're seeking You have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to organise information in a way that enables teams to make informed decisions.
You're comfortable working with engineers, project managers and senior stakeholders, asking the right questions and ensuring that technical information is complete, accurate and appropriately controlled.
You understand that governance isn't bureaucracy – it's what enables complex programs to deliver safely, consistently and at scale.
