Task & responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for: Assisting in the planning, design and implementation of engineering projects.
Analysing engineering systems, equipment and processes to improve performance and efficiency.
Preparing technical reports, specifications, drawings and project documentation.
Conducting technical investigations and recommending practical engineering solutions.
Assisting with the development and implementation of engineering procedures and quality control measures.
Supporting project planning, scheduling and resource coordination.
Monitoring project progress and ensuring work is completed in accordance with technical specifications and relevant standards.




Evaluating equipment performance and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Coordinating with engineers, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders during project delivery.
Assisting in the selection, testing and commissioning of equipment and engineering systems.
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and company policies.
Providing technical advice and support to management and project teams.
Qualification & experience
To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Engineering Technology, Engineering or a closely related discipline.
A minimum of 1–2 years of full-time relevant experience as an Engineering Technologist or in a similar engineering role.
Sound understanding of engineering principles, technical standards and project delivery processes.
Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications and documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical reporting skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with engineering software or CAD applications will be highly regarded.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
