Medihire & Sales (MH&S;) is a leading WA-owned and operated retail sales and hire company specialising in assistive technology, mobility products, and home care aids for the aged, disabled, infirm, and post-surgery consumer markets.
MH&S; has been serving the Perth community for over 25 years from four store locations, and we are very proud of our range of quality products, reputation for service, sound advice, and excellent customer outcomes.
We presently have an opening for a permanent part-time Retail Sales/Customer Service Consultant to work across network of four metropolitan stores as a relief staff member (cover for annual, personal leave, etc.).
We have branches in Balcatta, Osborne Park, Midland and Willetton.
Approximately 60+ hours per fortnight on average (includes 2 x Saturdays 9 am-noon per month).
This is a permanent part-time position (9am–5pm), Monday to Friday, Saturday 9am–12noon with an immediate start available.
The person we are seeking needs to be mature in attitude,
patient and possess sound knowledge and experience in retail sales, customer service and general day-to-day shop management and maintenance.
Previous experience in the home health care and mobility sector will be highly regarded.
The position requires some manual handling and light product assembly.
Flexibility and your own transportation for secondment between our four store locations is essential.
It is preferred that the successful applicant has developed skills in the following areas:
· Computer literacy
· Sound customer service orientation
· Good communication skills - both written and oral
· Initiative – self-starter
· Able to work both alone and in a small team setting
· Ability to function well under pressure
· Attention to detail
Due to the nature of the role and the requirement to work with vulnerable members of the community, we require our staff to have (or be willing to undertake) a National Police and NDIS Clearance.
