Hiring ChefsMylk Bar are currently seeking enthusiastic & self-motivated hospitality professionals to expand our current team.
With 4 locations in the City, North Adelaide & Hindmarsh we are looking for people who are passionate about hospitality.Chefs about the role:To manage the operation of the kitchen, with accountability for achievement of the café's business objectivesTo maximize revenue opportunities by both fulfilling and building upon customer's food service needsPrepare and cook a wide variety of dishes in accordance with the cafe's menu, including daily specials.Ensure all dishes are prepared with attention to detail, presentation, and taste.Supervise and train kitchen staff, delegating tasks as necessary.Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring stock levels are maintained.Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards to ensure consistency.Ensure kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained at all times.Work closely with the manager to plan and execute special events and promotions.Monitor and manage food costs and portion control to minimize waste.Adhere to all health and safety regulations,



including food handling and sanitation procedures.To be considered for this position, you must-:have previous experience in the industry or in a similar role (at least 1 year)have relevant qualifications or skillsbe self-motivated, creative, confident and enthusiasticbe a team playerhave food safety supervisor certificateThe successful candidates will support and assist our management team in day-to-day operations of the venue with a high focus on customer experience and positive team culture.Full-time options available with a market-competitive salary negotiable based on experience.
Availability across a 7-day roster required.
