We are seeking a
Trade Assistant
to join our Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisors, you will work closely with maintenance crews throughout Wespine.
This is offered on a
full time
position working an
8/6 roster
, averaging 45 hours per week.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting tradespeople with maintenance activities
Performing preventative maintenance,
including general equipment greasing
Identifying safety hazards and opportunities for improvement
Other duties as directed these may include cleaning, painting, construction, logistics services and administrative duties
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a TA role in an industrial environment (desirable)
Mechanical Aptitude
A strong commitment to safety
Ability to work as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills
