M.M & Mechanical is looking for a motivated and customer-focused
Sales / Parts Interpreter
to join our team on a casual basis.
We are a locally owned mechanical and power equipment business working with leading brands including
Husqvarna, Bushranger, TGB and Honda Marine
.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in
sales, parts interpreting or the mechanical industry
who enjoys working with customers and being part of a team.
About the Role
This role will involve working across our sales and parts departments, assisting customers with their equipment and parts requirements and helping provide a high level of customer service.
The position is
casual, approximately 3 days per week
, with shifts generally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, plus Saturday work on a rotating roster.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting customers with sales and parts enquiries
Identifying and supplying the correct parts and products
Providing knowledgeable and friendly customer service
Processing sales and parts orders
Assisting with stock management and inventory
Working with our range of Husqvarna, Bushranger, TGB and Honda Marine products
Liaising with workshop staff, suppliers and customers
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional sales/parts area




Working as part of a team to achieve business and customer service goals
About You
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Previous experience in
sales, parts interpreting or the mechanical trade
A good understanding of mechanical equipment and parts
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Good phone communication skills
A current
driver's licence
Strong attention to detail
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Valuable computer and organisational skills
Experience in outdoor power equipment, agricultural machinery, marine equipment or a similar mechanical industry would be highly regarded.
