34 South is a busy beachside cafe in Bulli serving breakfast, lunch and specialty coffee. With a strong local following and a buzzing weekend crowd, we're looking for skilled chefs to join our kitchen team and deliver fresh, high-quality food with consistency and passion. We're looking at re-opening Friday + Saturday dinner service late September.
The Role
We're seeking qualified chefs who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can work confidently across all areas of the kitchen. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who values teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Assist with stock management, ordering,



and kitchen cleanliness
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Passionate about food and creating new dishes
Requirements
Commercial Cookery Certificate III (or higher) / trade qualifications
Demonstrated chef experience in a busy café/restaurant
Strong kitchen and time management skills
Sound knowledge of food safety standards
Available full-time, including weekends
