If you enjoy hands-on work, have an eye for detail and are curious about how locks and security systems work, this could be the perfect opportunity to build a rewarding career. We provide full training and support, so previous locksmith experience is not essential.
Full-time is preferred; however, part-time will be considered for the right applicant.
Job Overview
With our focus on system design and service, we provide comprehensive security solutions for large commercial sites as well as residential customers. Catering for all locksmith and electronic security needs across Regional Queensland, Southeast Asia and The Pacific, this job will have you develop skills in lock assembly, key cutting and small machine operation.
Reporting to The Internal Operations Manager we are seeking an assembly worker with a passion for learning and a knack for hands on work to join our team in Townsville. Whilst prior experience in a similar role in beneficial, it is not mandatory as we provide full training. If you have a positive attitude and enjoy working with your hands, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities and Duties
• Assembly of locks, keys and cylinders and key cutting
• Efficient processing of internal work orders while adhering to instructions and coding
• Operation, maintenance and cleanliness of small machines
• Following workshop processes with attention to detail
• Stock picking and packing
• Maintaining client confidentiality
• Clear and legible written communication
• Maintenance of a clean and organised work area
• Strict compliance with WHS guidelines and procedures

Successful candidates will be required to complete a National Police Check and undertake pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing as part of the appointment process, in line with company policies.
