About the role
TRADECO Building is looking for an experienced Carpenter with strong first and second fix skills to join our growing team.
We are a South Australian contractor delivering a mix of commercial and residential projects, from renovations and refurbishments through to fit-outs, remediation and building upgrades.
We have an in-house team of trades, so our carpenters work across a wide range of projects and alongside other skilled trades. No two jobs are exactly the same.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail and knows what a quality finish looks like.
What you'll be doing
First and second fix carpentry across residential and commercial projects
Framing, wall and ceiling works
Doors, frames, skirtings, architraves, cabinetry and hardware
Kitchen and bathroom fit-outs
Commercial fit-outs, refurbishments and finishing works
Residential renovations and upgrades
General carpentry, repairs and replacement of damaged or weathered timber
Remediation and maintenance works
Plasterboard fixing and minor patching
Working alongside our in-house trades across different projects
Assisting with other trades where required
Working independently and taking ownership of your work
Maintaining a clean, safe and professional work environment
What we're looking for
We're looking for a carpenter who can work independently, solve problems and take pride in delivering a quality job from start to finish.
You'll have:
Qualification in Carpentry
White Card
Current Drivers Licence




Strong finishing skills and attention to detail
Experience across residential and/or commercial projects
The ability to read plans and work through jobs independently
A practical, problem-solving approach
A reliable and professional attitude
The ability to work well as part of a team
