Douglas Shire Council is seeking a Disaster Management Officer to join our Disaster Management team on the Far North Queensland coast.
The role applies disaster management knowledge to establish priorities, plan, organise and implement operational and strategic activities.
You will lead incidents with the Incident Management Team, coordinate local disaster management plans, engage with community and government partners, and drive improvements to disaster planning across the shire.
