About therole:
An exciting opportunity is available for enthusiastic and highly motivated Emergency Physicians (FACEMs) to join the Footscray Hospital Emergency Department in a casual capacity,commencingAugust **** or by negotiation.
This role offers flexible opportunities across a seven-day roster, with a variety of morning,afternoonand evening shifts availablein accordance withthe current Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA).
Opportunities are available throughout the week, with clinicians able to support service delivery during peak demand periods, including weekends, particularly welcomed.
The department is structured into several clinical areas, including Resuscitation, Short Stay Unit, Main Cubicles, Fast Track,supported by dedicated Emergency Physicianoversight.
This role offers the opportunity to work across all areas, providing exposure to a broad and diverse range of emergency presentations while contributing to the delivery of high-quality care for the growing communities of Melbourne's western suburbs.
Most importantly, you will join a highly engaged, approachable and supportive team of Emergency Physicians,nursesand allied health clinicians.

Keyresponsibilities:
Emergency consultant supervision of patients and junior medical staff.
Managing ED flow and prioritising the Statement of Priorities.
Education and training of junior medical staff.
