The Shire of Exmouth is seeking a creative and driven Communications and Marketing professional to deliver engaging communications, strengthen our brand and help connect the Shire with our community.
Reporting to the Coordinator Communications, you'll deliver high-quality communications and marketing across a diverse organisation. From creating compelling content and managing digital and social media channels to delivering campaigns, supporting community engagement and coordinating media communications, you'll help shape how the Shire communicates with its community and stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines creativity with solid communication skills and enjoys bringing ideas to life. You'll work across graphic design, photography, videography, social media, website content, marketing campaigns and community events, creating engaging content that showcases Shire services, projects, initiatives and the Exmouth community.




You'll also help strengthen the Shire's communications by maintaining a consistent brand and voice, monitoring media and community sentiment, supporting emerging issues and using digital insights to continually improve the reach and impact of our communications.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is creative, organised and confident communicating with a range of audiences, with a strong eye for engaging content and visual design.
You'll be confident managing competing priorities, turning ideas into polished content and building positive working relationships across the organisation and community. Experience across communications, marketing, content creation, graphic design and digital or social media will be highly regarded, along with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
