About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused casual wait staff to join our front-of-house team. As a key part of our service team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests feel welcomed, well looked after, and leave with a great impression of Yardbird.
Key responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a warm and professional manner
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Deliver meals and drinks to tables with attention to presentation and timing
Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism
Manage dietary requirements and food allergy requests with care and accuracy
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and dining space
Process payments and operate the POS system
Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards
About you
Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Availability for weekend, evening,



and public holiday shifts
RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification required or willingness to obtain
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service
Basic knowledge of wine is highly regarded
