Cessnock City Council has two exciting opportunities for Parking Officers to join our Ranger Services team.

You'll spend your days applying legislation, engaging with the public, and helping deliver a safe and accessible community.
With a mix of enforcement, education and customer interaction, no two days are ever the same.
As a Parking Officer, you will:
Enforce Roads and Traffic legislation relating to on-street parking, footpath obstructions, heavy vehicle parking and Mobility Parking Scheme requirements.
Investigate and take appropriate action in relation to unattended items.
Provide professional, accurate and timely customer service while managing regulatory matters with integrity and confidentiality.
Deliver community education initiatives that promote compliance with parking legislation and Ranger Services responsibilities.
To be successful in this role, you'll have exposure to parking enforcement and be confident interpreting and applying relevant legislation.
You'll enjoy working independently, communicating with a wide range of people, and making sound decisions in a agile environment.
Experience in parking enforcement will be highly regarded, along with experience in Ranger Services, Compliance, Animal Control or Law Enforcement.
$79,008 - $91,483 plus superannuation and a leaseback vehicle
