Working on complex, high-profile and interesting Criminal Law, Regulatory & Workplace matters
Minimum of 3 years Legal Assistant experience is essential (in any area)
Criminal Law experience is preferred but not essential
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Diary management and coordinating appointments, deadlines and court commitments.
Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal correspondence and court documents.
Managing confidential client files and matter administration.
Opening and closing files, archiving and document management.
Preparing and coordinating electronic and hard-copy briefs for counsel, experts and clients.
Filing and inspecting documents with courts, tribunals and government agencies.
Liaising with clients, barristers, experts and other stakeholders.
Arranging transcriptions, correspondence, interviews and file notes.
Billing and general practice support tasks.
Contributing to the productive running of a busy legal practice.
Your experience
You will have a minimum of 3 years Legal Assistant experience.
Criminal Law experience is preferred but not essential.
You will also have strong organisational skills and time management skills.

Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience (between $80,000 - $85,000 + Superannuation).
