About the Role:
The Transport Officer is one of the first points of contact for clients of Danila Dilba Health Service (DDHS) and is responsible for the day-to-day transportation of our clients to and from appointments.
What You Need to Succeed
Plan transport route to ensure that an efficient and effective timetable is kept.
Work to a time limit of no longer than 5-10 minutes per client (this may need to be longer for frail, aged or disabled clients).
Assist frail, aged or disabled clients (where required) to and from their premises to the bus, and from the bus into the service area (e.g., clinic).
Liaise with the Supervisor and Receptionists each afternoon, to establish client list for the following days transport requirements.
Actively model DDHS Code of Conduct Policy and demonstrate appropriate and skilled workplace behaviours,



help team members as required and undertake other key responsibilities or activities as reasonably directed.
Maintain a positive work environment along with harmonious and cooperative relationships with all staff and clients.
Proactively address WH&S; hazards, incidents, and injuries.

To work with DDHS you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a current police check, a valid NT working with children's card, a current CPR certificate and full vaccination against COVID-19, or an exemption as listed on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).
Only those with full working rights will be considered for this position.
Employment with us is subject to:
Willing to undergo a Police Check.
Ability and willingness to obtain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
Current CPR certificate or the preparedness to gain one within 6 months of commencement.
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or an exemption as listed on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) be submitted.
Full rights to work in Australia.
