With a number of major projects ramping up, our Recruitment team is busy - and we're looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to jump in and help us manage an influx of recruitment activity across a range of project-based roles.
This is a 3–6 month contract with an immediate start, based at our Luscombe Head Office. It's a great opportunity to gain hands-on internal recruitment experience with a global organisation while supporting recruitment for major projects across Australia.
The Role
Working closely with our Senior Recruitment Advisor, you'll spend a large part of your day speaking with candidates, conducting phone screens and identifying suitable people to progress through the recruitment process.
There will be a lot of phone calls, so you need to genuinely enjoy talking to people. You'll also need to be able to talk, type and think quickly at the same time, capturing clear and accurate notes while keeping the conversation flowing.
If you enjoy the fast pace of recruitment, candidate engagement and keeping multiple vacancies moving, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing
Conducting high-volume candidate phone screens and interviews.
Screening applications and CVs against role requirements.
Recruiting across construction and project-based FIFO positions.
Taking explicit and accurate notes during candidate conversations.
Shortlisting suitable candidates for hiring managers.
Coordinating interviews with candidates and managers.
Keeping candidates informed throughout the recruitment process.
Assisting with reference checks and pre-employment requirements.




Maintaining accurate recruitment records and candidate information.
Supporting the Senior Recruitment Advisor with general recruitment coordination.
About You
We're looking for someone with recruitment or resourcing experience who is confident on the phone, works well at pace and genuinely enjoys speaking with candidates.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing or talent acquisition.
Experience conducting phone screens and candidate interviews.
The ability to talk, type and think quickly at the same time.
Confidence speaking with candidates from a broad range of backgrounds.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of candidates.
A friendly, practical and down-to-earth communication style.
Exposure to construction, engineering, resources or FIFO recruitment would be highly regarded.
Most importantly, you'll be comfortable picking up the phone and talking to candidates for a large part of your day.
This could also be a great opportunity for an agency Resourcer looking to gain hands-on experience within an internal recruitment team.
