Entry level position in the mental health sector
About the Role
The House Administrator plays a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our supported accommodation service.
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating administrative and financial processes, managing enquiries, and providing professional support to residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
The role is a casual position, from Monday to Friday with 25 hours per week.
Key Duties
Maintain resident files, records,



and administrative systems.
Process timesheets and assist with financial administration.
Monitor rent payments and support accounts processes.
Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Manage phone calls, enquiries, and front office activities.
Liaise with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
Coordinate supplier communications and administrative tasks.
Support the efficient operation of the facility through general administrative duties.
About you
You are an experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills and confidence working across multiple systems and processes.
You communicate professionally, maintain a high level of accuracy, and are comfortable liaising with a range of stakeholders while handling sensitive information with discretion.
Ideally you will also have compassion and experience working with those facing various life challenges, including interacting with people living with mental illness and disabilities.
Skills and requirements:
An interest in Mental Health
A thorough and detailed approach to tasks
Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite, Odoo)
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
Cash handling
Basic accounting knowledge
A polite and friendly manner
Proficient time management skills
High personal, qualified and ethical standards
An ability and willingness to learn the Residential Services industry including standards and guidelines.
