Location
Centaur is a Residential Aged Care Home located in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.
It is a 94 Bed Residential Aged Care Home.
Duties
Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linen towelling and residents' garments.
Cleaning/kitchen cloths, mops and garments, Utilising washing, drying, extracting, pressing, folding or other industrial machines/equipment, as required.
Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry.
The successful applicant
Ideally your background will be in laundries or cleaning within aged care or hospitality.
Positive attention to details and a friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and co-workers.
Reliable and have very good time management.




Computer skills to complete all online ongoing training as required.
Mandatory for compliance
Evidence of valid working rights in Australia.
Complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement.
