We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 High Risk Podiatrist within the Podiatry service in Croydon, Surrey, offering a competitive rate of £***** per hour.

What you will do:
Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of podiatry conditions, with a focus on high-risk patients.
Manage patients with diabetes, high-risk feet, and musculoskeletal foot disorders.
Undertake comprehensive foot health assessments and risk assessments.
Develop and implement individual treatment programmes.
Deliver specialist diabetic foot screening and review clinics.
Perform vascular and neurological assessments using Doppler, monofilaments, and tuning forks.
Provide foot health education and health promotion initiatives.Participate in nail surgery and biomechanics services.
Undertake domiciliary visits and community-based assessments.
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, GPs, and specialist services.
Maintain accurate clinical records and Community Information System data.
Manage clinical stock and equipment.
Support students and contribute to service development, audits, and quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
HCPC registration.
Degree or Diploma in Podiatric Medicine.
Experience working with a wide range of patient groups including high-risk foot patients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Desirable:
Certificate in Local Anaesthesia, Certificate in Prescription Only Medicine, nail surgery experience, biomechanics experience, and a valid UK driving licence.

Podiatry within the Adult Integrated Care Directorate.
Working Environment:
A community and clinic-based role, working across hospital clinics, community clinics, GP practices, residential homes, patients' homes, and mental health units.
