A strong leader and contributor in supporting new projects and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI)
Ensure that the project technical solution fulfils customer contract and other requirements
Reviewing and providing engineering input and guidance to ensure the energy storage facility solution is fit for purpose and optimized.
Responsible for the project subcontracting
Responsible for managing Balance of Plant engineering interface
Responsible for High-Medium-Low voltage systems and protection relays
Ensure the fire protection and detection system is according to the project requirement.
Plan project engineering phase and engineering work packages
Responsible for technical change and cost management
Ensure good collaboration with Project Management team members, in-house experts, and external engineering services providers
Communicate actively with customers and other business stakeholders on project technical matters




Provide lessons learned and development initiatives
Safeguard that the electrical works are executed according to contract specifications and design directives
Manage and initiate project activities for contractual fulfilment together with Supply Management, suppliers, subcontractors, and other members of the project-specific organization
Plan the works with the total costs and customer needs in focus
Follow-up quality, progress, costs and documentation of the technical area
Report, evaluate and mitigate risks
Participate in customer negotiations when needed and maintain valuable customer relationship
Apply project management best practices
Support sales in Energy Storage project opportunities
Provide Project technical specification and scope of supply review
You will shine in this role when you have:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
B.Eng.
or M.Sc.
in engineering (preferably Electrical)
Specialised cross discipline technical expertise within Substation/ BESS or solar engineering
Need good electrical engineering background and good understanding of other engineering discipline
Proficient in Control Systems & Industrial Communication protocols
Project Management experience (minimum 5 years)
Minimum 5+ years delivering major projects, ideally in utility scale energy storage and renewable energy projects
Leadership experience and skills




Good negotiation and presentation skills
Cost awareness & effectiveness
Excellent teamwork skills
Proactive attitude and positive Can-Do mind-set
Technical report writing skill and engineering analysis skill are desired.
