in Canning Vale.

experience

About the Role
In this hands-on position you will deliver high‐quality
blasting and surface preparation
across a range of products. Your responsibilities include:
Performing abrasive blasting to prepare surfaces to the required standard prior to coating
Ensuring correct surface preparation and consistent coating quality
Operating, maintaining and cleaning blasting equipment, including blast pots, compressors and spray equipment
Applying protective coatings including epoxies, urethanes, and specialised paint systems
Working independently and as part of a team to meet project timeframes
Following all safety procedures, industry codes, and Australian Standards
Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members
Visa sponsorship
may be considered for suitable candidates who meet role, performance, and compliance requirements.



Candidates seeking sponsorship must be currently residing in Australia and have valid working rights at the time of application. Candidates currently holding a 482 visa are welcome to apply as Visa transfer/ sponsorship is available.
What We are Looking For
To be considered, candidates must have:
Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience in abrasive blasting within an industrial or protective coatings setting
Experience applying protective coatings (painting) in an industrial setting
Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating techniques
A committed, safety-first mindset
High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Ability to work in physically demanding environments
Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends
(penalty rates apply)
Qualifications & Tickets (highly regarded)
Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application, or a recognised protective coatings qualification (e.g. AMPP/NACE)
Forklift ticket
Construction Induction Training (White Card)
