About the role
Seeking 1 Additional FTE based at our Adelaide site - available to start ASAP.
Working within our Inclusive Employment Australia program, the Employment Coach is responsible for engaging, facilitating and empowering a caseload of Participants who have a prior offender history, with the objective of securing meaningful employment.
The role supports justice-involved participants to develop appropriate skills and attributes to improve their employment prospects and gain meaningful employment.

About you
To ensure your success working in the Inclusive Employment Australia service, you'll bring:
A strong alignment to OARS CT's organisational values and culture.
A qualification in Employment Services or similar field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Demonstrated understanding of the justice system and the employment barriers faced by ex-offenders, with the ability to advocate for opportunities for participants living with a disability, injury, health condition, and/or offending history.
Proven experience in developing tailored employment solutions for justice-involved clients, including skills matching, interview preparation, and motivational interviewing.
Strong knowledge of legal and compliance requirements around employing participants with criminal histories, ensuring ethical and responsible practices.
Knowledge of local and regional labour markets, with the ability to identify employer needs and match suitable participants.
A National Police Clearance and a Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
A current driver's licence.
