We are seeking Clinic Transport Officers for both permanent full-time and fixed-term positions across a number of metropolitan locations, as detailed below.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Team Manager or Senior Team Manager, Clinic Transport Officers work Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 8:00pm on 10-hour shifts, with one weekend rostered every three weeks.
As a Clinic Transport Officer with Ambulance Victoria, you will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey by safely transporting pre- and post-hospital walking and wheelchair patients.
You will help ensure patients reach their destination safely, comfortably and with dignity while contributing to positive health outcomes and service excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing safe, respectful and effective care during patient transport.
* Responding promptly to allocated cases and supporting efficient service delivery.
* Completing patient care documentation accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Conducting safe vehicle operations and maintaining vehicles and equipment to Ambulance Victoria standards.
* Delivering effective patient handovers and communicating professionally with patients, healthcare providers and stakeholders.
* Promoting a safe workplace through compliance with policies, procedures and safety requirements.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this position you will have:
* Successful completion of the Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport, or one of the following equivalent ambulance qualifications: Qualified Ambulance Paramedic,



Diploma of Emergency Health Care, Bachelor of Health Science, or a Paramedicine Degree.
* Current Victorian Driver Licence.
* Minimum 100 hours of on-road clinical experience completed within a two-year period (desirable).
* Demonstrated understanding of the Scope of Practice, Clinical Practice Guidelines and regulatory requirements relevant to the Clinic Transport Officer role.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Successful applicants will be required to:
* Hold valid and current unrestricted Australian work rights.
* Drive and operate any of AV's operational fleet.
* Attend a mandatory four-week induction program in metropolitan Melbourne commencing Monday 9 November ****.
