We're partnering with an established energy company looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join their finance team on an initial temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
You'll be joining a busy finance team in modern offices. The role has a strong focus on accounts receivable, alongside some accounts payable, purchasing and general finance administration support. You'll be joining a busy team, so we're looking for someone who can pick things up quickly, stay organised and confidently manage their own workload.

A typical week might see you:
Managing accounts receivable and following up outstanding debtors
Preparing and reconciling customer statements
Responding to customer account queries
Completing weekly bank reconciliations
Processing and allocating customer receipts
Supporting accounts payable, including invoice and payment processing




Raising purchase orders and assisting with purchasing administration
Completing purchase order reconciliations
Providing general finance and administration support to the wider team

Previous experience in an Accounts Officer, Accounts Administrator, Finance Administrator or similar role
Strong accounts receivable experience, including debtor follow-up and reconciliations
Experience processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
Some exposure to accounts payable and/or purchasing administration
Good Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities
A friendly, professional communication style and confidence dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
The ability to work independently while also working well as part of a team
