Position: Maintenance Planner Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 p/a plus Super Employer Name: Palermo Perfumes Pty Ltd A.B.N. ************** Job Location: ******* Bakers Rd, Coburg North, VIC, ****, AUSTRALIA Advertising Period: 28 days - 12 Aug ****** Sep **** Summary Palermo Perfumes Pty Ltd is an Australian fragrance manufacturer operating a perfume production, filling and packaging facility in Coburg North.
To support its manufacturing operations, the company is seeking a full time Maintenance Planner to develop and coordinate preventative and planned maintenance across its production, filling, pressing and packaging equipment.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: • Develop preventative and predictive maintenance programs for the facility's production equipment, including filling, pressing and packaging machinery, based on equipment criticality, manufacturer specifications and maintenance history.
• Develop detailed weekly, monthly and shutdown maintenance schedules for the site's production machines, including labour, contractor, spare-parts and equipment requirements.
• Plan and prioritise maintenance work orders through the CMMS, including job scope, resource requirements, estimated duration and scheduling.
• Analyse equipment failure history, downtime, MTBF and MTTR trends across the filling, pressing and packaging lines and recommend maintenance and reliability improvements.
• Maintain maintenance planning data within the CMMS, including equipment histories, task lists, maintenance frequencies and work-order records.
• Coordinate planned shutdowns and major maintenance activities with production, engineering, contractors and procurement.




• Monitor maintenance backlog and schedule compliance and report on maintenance performance against established KPIs.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role: • Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Maintenance Engineering or closely related discipline; or, where the applicant does not hold a relevant qualification, at least 3 years' demonstrated experience in maintenance planning within a manufacturing or production environment.
• A minimum of 12 months' relevant experience performing maintenance planning or scheduling functions.
• Demonstrated experience developing preventative maintenance programs and structured maintenance schedules for production equipment.
• Demonstrated experience using CMMS software to plan, prioritise, schedule and manage maintenance work orders.
• Experience analysing equipment downtime, failure history and maintenance KPIs, including MTTR and MTBF, to identify reliability improvements.
• Experience coordinating labour, contractors, spare parts and other resources required for planned maintenance activities.
• Understanding of spare-parts planning, inventory control and procurement processes relating to maintenance activities.
• Sound knowledge of WHS requirements applicable to industrial maintenance activities.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare maintenance performance, KPI and audit documentation.
