Workers' Compensation Solicitor About the Role: A well-established national personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Solicitor to join its growing Sydney practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys managing their own matters while working within a collaborative and supportive team.

The successful candidate will manage a wide-ranging portfolio of NSW Workers' Compensation matters from commencement through to resolution.
The role offers genuine autonomy, advocacy opportunities and long-term career development within a respected specialist personal injury practice.

Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of NSW Workers' Compensation matters from inception through to resolution.
Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients throughout their claims.
Prepare matters for Conciliation Conferences, Judicial Conferences and Hearings.
Represent clients before the Personal Injury Commission where appropriate.
Instruct Counsel in the Magistrates' Court and Supreme Court of NSW.
Prepare legal correspondence, submissions, briefs and court documentation.
Liaise with insurers, medical practitioners, barristers, Commission members and other stakeholders.
Conduct legal research and provide practical advice on workers' compensation matters.
Maintain accurate legal files and ensure compliance with legislative and professional obligations.
Mentor and support paralegal staff while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications:



Admission as an Australian Legal Practitioner with a current and unrestricted NSW Practising Certificate.
Minimum 3+ years Post Admission Experience (PAE).
At least 12 months of experience in NSW Workers' Compensation law with IRO approval or demonstrated competence.
Experience appearing before the Personal Injury Commission.
Strong knowledge of NSW Workers' Compensation legislation and procedures.
Excellent advocacy, negotiation and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to independently manage a caseload and progress matters through to resolution.
Strong client management skills and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
Ability to work collaboratively with solicitors, paralegals, counsel and other stakeholders.
