Requirements Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration via the Competent Authority Pathway or Standard Pathway (AMC assessed, if applicable) , with at least 12 months recent Emergency Medicine experience Currently on the ACEM training program ACEM interview date confirmed Assessed by ACEM as partially or substantially comparable International Medical Graduate eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand – PLAB exempt for UK doctors) International Medical Graduate eligible via the Standard Pathway (AMC MCQ and Clinical Exam) UK trained doctors with GMC registration are typically eligible for AHPRA registration through the Competent Authority Pathway .
