City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital works projects that enhance existing assets and create new infrastructure across our city.

As a Project Manager at CN, you will manage a range of projects from planning, design and construction, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.
Working closely with contractors, consultants, technical specialists, regulators and community stakeholders, you will provide leadership and direction throughout the project lifecycle while navigating challenges, identifying opportunities and delivering value-for-money outcomes aligned with CN's strategic objectives.
You will bring robust experience in project delivery, contract administration, procurement and stakeholder management, along with the ability to balance commercial, environmental and technical considerations.
Whether coordinating complex civil, environmental, infrastructure or construction projects, you will be confident managing risk, driving collaboration and influencing positive outcomes across a broad range of stakeholders.
CN are looking for a motivated professional with qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Building Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and expertise.
Experience delivering civil, infrastructure or environmental projects will be highly regarded, particularly within environmental management, landfill operations, wastewater or leachate systems, wetlands, waterways, bushland renewal, or projects requiring liaison with regulatory authorities and approval bodies.
