At Townsville Correctional Complex, we have a fulfilling and rewarding clinical role which provides mental health services that promote well-being and safety, and where you can make a real difference to improving rehabilitation and post-release outcomes.
This diverse Centre is located approximately 15 kilometres from Townsville City.
It supports men's and women's high and low custody for individuals at various stages of their sentence, from all across Queensland.
About the Role: Conduct interventions, assessments and consultations and manage complex cases and situations that contribute to behaviour support and management plans.
Mentor and supervise other clinicians and facilitate the development of critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.




Assist the Mental Health Team Leader to sustain a service focused team and culture.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support rehabilitation and safety.
