How will you make a difference?
In alignment with Wabtec's Vision, Mission, and Values, safely and efficiently complete all assigned warehouse and stores tasks, contributing to the overall achievement of the Kewdale Operations' business goals and objectives.
What will your typical day look like?
Comply with EHS & Quality requirements in accordance with Wabtec policies and procedures
Conduct material movements, forklift operations, goods receipting, and coordinate with logistics providers and/or suppliers for the collection and despatch of materials in accordance with relevant work instructions, stores processes, EHS and quality standards
Conduct stock takes and/or cycle counts
Maintain inventory accuracy and material traceability through the effective execution of stores processes and system transactions
Ensure all relevant documentation and data entry associated with stores and warehouse tasks and processes are completed accurately and in full
Escalate issues and provide recommendations to the site-based leadership team regarding any EHS, quality, technical and continuous improvement matters
Support other Stores team members with relevant processes, procedures, and technical knowledge to support the achievement of Operations team goals
Actively participate in team meetings, training and development activities
Ensure the work setting, plant, tooling, and equipment are maintained to a safe, clean,



and orderly condition at all times
Ensure all plant, tooling and equipment have prestart checks and/or preventive maintenance carried out prior to use in accordance with relevant requirements
Comply with and support continuous improvement, lean and 5S initiatives
Maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers
Take ownership of responsibilities and actively contribute towards the achievement of business performance goals, delivery timeframes and customer satisfaction
Be willing to work reasonable additional hours as required to support business needs
Domestic or international travel may be required
Perform other related duties as reasonably required to support business operations
What do we want to know about you?
Relevant experience within a manufacturing or services warehousing environment
Effective organisational, time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills
Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems
Current Driver Licence and Forklift Licence
Desirable Experience
Currently Hold/Willing to obtain - First Aid, Fire Warden, Overhead Gantry Crane
