The Service
At KU Bilya Gulyangarri Preschool, we are proud of our reputation within the local community for providing a creative and nurturing preschool program for children aged 3 to 5 years, with a strong focus on each child as an individual and on working in close partnership with families.
Our service is a welcoming and nurturing space where children are immersed in a program that supports their development, values family input, and encourages children to laugh, wonder, think and learn together through warm and supportive relationships. We aim to build strong relationships with families and create a strong sense of belonging in our community, while respecting and celebrating the individuality of children, families and educators.
The Role
We are looking for a Certificate III qualified educator to join the team at KU Bilya Gulyangarri Preschool in North Katoomba. This permanent part time role will see you working 5 hours per day, Monday to Thursday, supporting the service by covering breaks. There may also be opportunities for additional support hours if you are interested.
This is a outstanding opportunity for an educator who values robust relationships with children and families, is keen to continue developing their skills,
and would like to be part of a passionate, capable and dedicated preschool team. Newly qualified educators are encouraged to apply.

You will have:
Australian working rights
A current NSW Working with Children Check
An ACECQA recognised completed Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a similar approved qualification
Completed Child Protection training and knowledge of current legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, Education and Care Services National Law *****) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations *****)
