POP MART is a global designer‐to‐toy and pop‐culture brand with 550+ stores and 2,300 Robo Shops across 30+ countries. As we continue to expand across Australia, we're looking for a confident and people‐focused Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Chadstone Shopping Centre, Australia's premier retail destination.
With a planned commencement in late September ****, this is an exciting opportunity to join POP MART at a pivotal time of growth. Our Chadstone store is preparing to relocate to a new, larger and even more exciting retail space in late October, creating a unique opportunity for a retail leader to be part of the next chapter of the store's journey.
Starting in September, you'll benefit from approximately one month of structured onboarding and training within the existing store, allowing you to build strong product knowledge,
understand our operations and develop relationships with the team before supporting the transition into the recent flagship location.

What You'll Lead
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to support all aspects of store performance while leading and developing a high‐performing retail team.
Lead & Develop the Team
Coach, motivate and inspire team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Provide regular feedback, training and performance coaching
Support recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members
Foster a positive, accountable and inclusive team culture
Drive Commercial Results
Support achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators
Analyse store performance and identify opportunities to drive results
Lead by example through strong selling behaviours and customer engagement
Help build a commercially focused and customer‐centric team
Deliver Strong Store Operations
Assist with roster planning, workforce management and daily operations
Maintain outstanding visual merchandising and presentation standards
Oversee stock replenishment, deliveries and inventory management
Support loss prevention initiatives and operational compliance
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Represent the POP MART Brand
Deliver memorable customer experiences on every shift
Support product launches, campaigns and in‐store activations
Engage with collectors and fans to strengthen community connections
Champion POP MART's culture, values and brand standards
About You
Have 2+ years' experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or similar retail leadership position
Have experience leading teams in fast‐paced, high‐volume retail environments
Are comfortable working towards sales targets and operational KPIs
Are a hands‐on leader with strong coaching and communication skills
Are highly organised and able to balance multiple priorities
Have a strong customer‐first mindset
Enjoy working in energetic, dynamic retail environments
Have a passion for pop culture, collectibles, creative brands or customer communities
Are flexible to work across a 7‐day shopping centre roster
