No two days are the same. One day you could be helping prepare elegant dishes for a silver service event, the next catering for large-scale functions with over a thousand guests or creating fresh and delicious meals for our Foodspace customers. Working in a dynamic commercial kitchen, you'll gain hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations while developing your creativity and passion for food.

Timeframe and Qualification:
This is a 3-year apprenticeship. On completion you will obtain a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
This is an apprenticeship and is ideal for school leavers, those new to the industry or seeking a career change. Eligibility criteria apply if you hold existing qualifications in this area.

What you will need to succeed:
A passion for cooking and food and a desire to grow your skills and knowledge.
Attention to detail combined with creativity to experiment with new recipes and share ideas.




Flexibility to handle various tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
You're a team player, with the ability to learn from, and grow positive relationships with others.
Successful completion of Year 10 is desirable but not required.
Food safety Certificate is desirable but not essential
