About The Role
Reporting to the Replenishment Manager, this role focuses on managing the end-to-end import process and ensuring optimal stock availability across the business. You will oversee shipments from factory through to distribution, driving efficient inventory flow and timely delivery while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and freight partners.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and forecast inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability across all branches nationally
Coordinate and track all import shipments to ensure timely delivery into Australia
Manage the end-to-end import process from factory through to distribution centers
Optimise container utilisation and configuration to maximise efficiency
Liaise with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders and internal operations teams to ensure smooth delivery
Minimise stock runouts while maintaining service level KPIs
Identify and manage overstocks, supporting stock transfers between distribution centres
Manage all import-related queries in a timely and professional manner
About You
Experience in import coordination, logistics or freight forwarding
Exposure to purchasing and importing from overseas suppliers, particularly China-based manufacturers
Strong understanding of demand planning and inventory forecasting
Advanced Excel and data analysis capability
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Mandarin language skills highly regarded
