We're seeking a reliable, safety‐conscious CNC Machinist to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to work on a variety of conventional and machine centre equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components in accordance with tight tolerances (G-Code and Conversational)
Precision manufacturing to tolerances of ±0.01mm is required for all components
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications with accuracy and confidence
Select appropriate tooling, establish offsets, prove out new jobs, and support efficient production runs
Conduct in-process inspections and final quality checks to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications
Diagnose and resolve machining issues, including tool wear, chatter, offset discrepancies, surface finish concerns, and dimensional inaccuracies
Maintain CNC equipment, tooling, and a clean, organized, and safe work setting
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve cycle times, product quality, and process repeatability
Accurately complete job documentation, inspection reports, and production records
Complete work orders and accurately log time against tasks
Troubleshoot machining and setup issues; apply strong problem solving and mechanical aptitude
Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area and follow all safety procedures




Be available for overtime as required
Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements
Trade Certificate: First Class Machining (required)
5+ years' experience as a CNC Machinist (Both turning and milling favourable)
Strong CNC setup and operating capability; programming experience highly regarded
Experience with Fanuc and Siemens CNC control systems is highly preferred
Ability to read and manufacture to engineering drawings (Metric & Imperial)
Full working rights in Australia
Current driver's licence
Reliable, safety focused and committed to high quality workmanship
Experience & Licences
