Komatsu is seeking an experienced
HD Fitter to join our Welshpool workshop team.
This is an exciting prospect for a skilled tradesperson who is ready to combine hands-on mechanical work with leadership responsibilities.
Working closely with the Leading Hand, you'll provide day-to-day support across workshop operations and step into a leadership role when required.
What You'll Be Doing:
Working on Komatsu's world-class heavy mobile equipment, you will:
Support the Leading Hand in coordinating daily workshop activities
Provide leadership and guidance to the team while promoting a strong safety culture
Carry out the assembly, fit-out and commissioning of new mobile equipment within our Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) department
Install customer-specific options and modifications
Conduct testing and quality inspections to ensure machines meet Komatsu's high standards
Assist in maintaining workshop productivity, quality and efficiency
What we are looking for:
Cert lll Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in a step up or supervisor capacity




Full "C" Class Drivers Licence
Current EWP and Working at heights desirable
Certificate IV in Leadership and Management - desirable
Ability to complete full pre-employment medical check as well as random drug testing
Roster:
Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week
Hourly Rate:
$***** per hour
