Kadina Freight Service is a proud, family-owned and operated South Australian business with more than 20 years of experience in freight and logistics. From humble beginnings with a single ute and small truck providing local deliveries, we have grown to become the region's largest parcel and general freight service, employing more than 28 people and operating a diverse fleet of over 30 vehicles, ranging from small commercial vehicles through to B-Double and B-Triple combinations.
With depots in Kadina and Adelaide, we provide reliable freight and distribution services across the Yorke Peninsula, Clare Valley, Mid-North and Greater Adelaide region. Our strong reputation has also seen us become a trusted delivery partner for a number of major national logistics providers.

About the Role
As an MC Driver with Kadina Freight Service,



you will play an important role in the safe and reliable movement of freight as part of our day-to-day transport operations.
This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position, giving you the stability of permanent employment while allowing you to enjoy your weekends at home.
Your responsibilities will include:
Safely operating MC-class heavy vehicles in accordance with road transport and company requirements
Completing scheduled freight movements and deliveries in a safe, efficient and professional manner
Ensuring freight is handled and transported appropriately
Completing required transport and delivery documentation
Conducting pre-start checks and reporting any vehicle or equipment issues
Maintaining a high standard of care for company vehicles and equipment
Representing Kadina Freight Service professionally when dealing with customers, suppliers and the wider community
Working cooperatively with our drivers, depot and operations teams
Maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and Chain of Responsibility requirements at all times

About You
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of safety and reliability, and wants to be part of a team rather than simply another number.
To be successful, you will have:
A current MC Driver's Licence
A strong commitment to safe driving and skilled conduct
A reliable and punctual approach to work
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
Valuable communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers
A willingness to look after the vehicles and equipment you operate
A Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential, while a current Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence will be highly regarded.
