The firm advises private business owners, public companies, private equity sponsors, family offices and corporates on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, strategic reviews and broader corporate finance matters.
The platform has built its reputation on senior-led advice, deep sector knowledge and high-quality execution across both private treaty and public market transactions. Its work spans sell-side and buy-side M&A;, takeovers, schemes of arrangement, capital advisory, shareholder situations, strategic options analysis and corporate development projects.
Due to continued activity and a strong forward pipeline, the firm is looking to appoint an Investment Banking Analyst to join its advisory team.
This is a strong opportunity for an Analyst seeking greater responsibility, direct exposure to senior bankers and clients, and the chance to work on high-quality transactions within a lean, entrepreneurial and technically rigorous advisory environment.
The Chance
Support the execution of M&A;, capital advisory and strategic corporate finance mandates across private treaty and public market transactions
Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses and transaction workstreams to support live mandates and client advice
Prepare high-quality client materials, including information memoranda, management presentations, board papers, buyer research, strategic analyses and transaction documentation
Assist with sell-side and buy-side processes, including buyer and investor targeting, market mapping, due diligence coordination, process management and transaction execution
Conduct company, sector and market research to support both live transactions and origination initiatives
Work closely with senior bankers across client meetings, transaction strategy, negotiations and long-term relationship development
Coordinate key execution tasks across live mandates,



liaising with clients, counterparties, lawyers, accountants, investors and other advisers
Maintain high standards across financial analysis, presentation quality, attention to detail and execution discipline
Requirements
1-2 years' experience in investment banking, corporate advisory, transaction services, valuations, restructuring or a closely related corporate finance environment
Exposure to M&A;, capital raisings, public market transactions, strategic reviews or broader corporate finance assignments
Financial modelling, valuation, analytical and presentation capability
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Commercial judgement, intellectual curiosity and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders
Ability to perform under pressure in a high-expectation, transaction-driven environment
Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Law or a related discipline
CFA, CA or similar professional progression viewed favourably but not essential
