Full time Senior Mechanical Project Engineer
required to deliver sustaining capital projects portfolio for a Lithium operator.
You will be based on site, with a 4/3, 4/3 and 8/6 roster to manage brownfield projects.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of our client's team in delivering sustaining capital improvements to a mine facility.
Key duties include but not limited to:
Collaborate with all key stakeholders to define the front-end development phases of improvement initiatives.
Ensure that initiatives are robust, aligned to objectives, economics are explicit and deliverables are aligned to the gated deliver process.
Monitor, control and report all contractor activities, taking required corrective actions to ensure safe delivery of projects.
Prepare and present scopes and study results to stakeholders as part of gated approval process.
Participate in site investigations and development of corrective strategies and actions.
Coordinate required resources, including site functions to ensure best utilisation of skills.
Identify, mitigate and manage project risks.
Weekly reporting/updates, cost control and project tracking.
Participate in detailed design review, constructability review and value improvement practices.
All travel expenses are fully reimbursed.
Key attributes for success:
Bachelor in engineering, with 7 or more years of experience in project delivery
Minimum of 5 years in brownfield execution experience, working as a Senior or Project Engineer with demonstration of experience in capital projects across all stages/phases
Experience of processing (HMS, Separation) plant or similar industrial environments.
Track record of managing stakeholders in a professional and adaptive manner
Strong written and verbal communication
