About the Role
Fantasy Caravan is looking for a driven
Sales Consultant
to join our Heatherbrae showroom.
This is a
genuine sales-focused position
.
Your main responsibility is easy:
Talk to customers.
Follow up leads.
Sell caravans.
You will have support from the wider team with administration, operations, delivery and product training, allowing you to spend more of your time doing what a strong salesperson does best —
selling
.
We are looking for someone who enjoys the phone, follows up relentlessly, knows how to build rapport and is motivated by closing deals and earning commission.
What You'll Be Doing
Respond to phone, online and showroom enquiries
Proactively call and follow up leads
Book customer appointments
Understand customer needs and recommend the right caravan
Conduct showroom and product presentations
Follow up quotes and undecided customers consistently
Negotiate and close sales
Maintain accurate lead activity in CRM
Re-engage older leads and opportunities
Attend caravan shows and sales events when required
Achieve monthly sales targets
This is
not a role where you wait for customers to walk through the door
.
We want someone who actively works their database, picks up the phone and creates sales opportunities.
About You
You are likely to suit this role if you:
Have proven sales experience




Are confident and comfortable on the phone
Have strong follow-up habits
Know how to ask for the sale and close
Are motivated by targets and commission
Can build trust quickly with customers
Are organised with leads and CRM
Don't give up after one or two follow-ups
Enjoy working in a performance-driven sales environment
Previous experience in
automotive, caravans, RVs, boats or other high-value retail sales
would be highly regarded.
Caravan experience is
not essential
.
