Part-time | 0.6 FTE | Western AustraliaAt PBF Australia, we have something most organisations don't.Stories that can change lives.Our Lived Experience Storytellers take their real experiences of life-changing spinal injury into workplaces, schools and communities not simply to tell their story, but to make people think differently about the choices they make.At the other end of that journey, our Peer Support team is there when someone has actually experienced a spinal injury providing connection, practical support and the reassurance that comes from talking to someone who truly understands.This role leads both.We're looking for someone who knows how to turn lived experience into impact.You'll lead the reimagining of PBF's Learning portfolio, designing, testing and refining programs that combine lived experience, learning science and behaviour change.You'll also oversee our Peer Support team, led by our Peer Support and Wellness Coordinator by supporting the delivery and development of our hospital-based peer support program and the people who support individuals and families following spinal injury.It's a rare opportunity to work across the full PBF journey:Influencing safer choices before injury.Supporting people when injury happens.Turning lived experience into something that helps others.This is your opportunity to build what comes next.You'll have the freedom to challenge what we currently do, create new ideas and turn them into programs and services that genuinely engage people and make a difference.You'll lead and develop our Lived Experience Storytellers and Peer Support team, while building the systems,
capability and quality needed to deliver consistently across Australia.What you'll bringWe're looking for someone with strong learning design and program development capability who can combine creativity with leadership and operational discipline.You may come from learning and development, health promotion, instructional design, behaviour change, education, program management or a related field.You'll know how to:Design learning that engages different audiencesTurn ideas, stories and evidence into compelling experiencesApply learning and behaviour-change principlesDevelop and rejuvenate programs and productsCoach people to become confident public speakers and facilitatorsLead teams and build capabilityTurn ideas into practical, scalable solutions and measure impactExperience in disability, injury prevention, social impact or working with lived experience is highly desirable.
