This role is to support our customers through a range of Work for the Dole activities to meet mandatory Activity Requirements.
This could include community-based work to gain new experience supporting not for profit organisations, volunteer work and certain study opportunities.
Your ability to guide, communicate and support customers will be highly regarded as you foster positive relationships.
What will you be doing?
Foster and develop strong relationships that lead to quality activities that meet the needs of our customers
Work closely and collaboratively with AKG sites, other Workforce Australia Providers and establish community networks and projects that deliver the program objectives
Develop and negotiate project proposals, contracts, and agreements appropriate to self-sourced activities
Identify potential host organisations that can offer Individual/ group placements that meet the demands of the region
Would this describe you?
High level interpersonal, negotiation and organisational skills with strong written and verbal communication
Work autonomously
Outcome focused and resilient, can-do attitude
Ability to quickly build effective and positive working relationships with various stakeholders - employers / community groups
Strong positive problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Understanding of risk management approaches
Be able to obtain a registered myID name prior to commencing employment
Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
What's needed for this role...
Experience in a similar role and/or in account management advantageous
Highly capable in negotiating business solutions with external providers
Excellent administration skills
