Your role as People and Culture Officer
As our People and Culture Officer at West Tamar Council, you will play a crucial role in managing various Human Resources functions, including recruitment, learning and development, and employee wellbeing. Your expertise will help us maintain a high standard of record keeping and compliance with relevant legislation.
You'll be organised and detail-oriented, and able to navigate complex situations with confidence, collaborating across diverse teams.
Your ability to manage workplace relationships and drive cultural initiatives will be key to your success in this role.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a people focused motivated professional who is eager to make an impact in our community-driven environment.
You will:
Hold a Certificate IV or Diploma in Human Resources Management or a willingness to obtain.
Have a minimum of four years' experience in an HR Officer or similar role.
Be proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS software.
Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
