Veterinary Receptionist – Friendly & Experienced Full-Time Role
The position
Brudine Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full time experienced, friendly and efficient Receptionist with excellent customer service and organisational skills to join our well-established and compassionate veterinary clinic.
The role combines frontline hospital reception duties, administrative tasks and communication operations.
Working hours will be 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday with opening or closing shifts and an occasional Saturday shift.
Our business hours are 7:30am to 6:30pm weekdays and 8:00am-1:00pm on Saturdays.
As a Veterinary Receptionist at Brudine Veterinary Hospital, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their furry family members, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for them both.
Our veterinary receptionists must have meticulous attention to detail so as to maintain Brudine's high standard of client relations and record keeping.

Brudine Veterinary Hospital first opened its doors in **** in a suburban house in Melba.
The hospital is now an independently owned practice in Charnwood, managed by two senior veterinarians with a team of 10 vets.
We offer a range of personalised care services for fur families including surgery, imaging, diagnostics and of course personalised veterinary care.
At Brudine, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, excellent care for patients and outstanding service for their owners.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
Greet and check in clients with a warm and welcoming manner.
Ensure all clients and patients feel comfortable and secure in our waiting room.
Answer phone calls promptly and provide accurate information regarding our available services and appointment options.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with our clients to ensure repeat business and positive word of mouth.
Address client concerns and find solutions to problems whether its scheduling conflicts, financial issues or other inquiries in a thoughtful, accurate and empathetic manner.
Administrative Duties:
Manage client scheduling, including booking appointments, confirming appointments and ensuring relevant documentation has been received/processed.
Maintain and update client records in our practice management software (Petbooqz).
Manage and action incoming and outgoing email and other correspondence.
Clean reception and consultation rooms on a regular basis.
Provide administrative support to veterinarians and management.
Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and a practice management software (previous experience with Petbooqz a bonus, in house training will be provided).
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
A commitment to working well within a team and supporting co-workers across all areas of the hospital.
