We currently have a permanent position available within our Construction Department in our SA Branch.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the role of a TKE Modernisation Electrician is to be directly responsible for the installation of new equipment to specific Australian Standards and Codes.
The successful applicant must hold a current SA Electrical licence.
Australian citizenship is required for this position.
The responsibilities of the successful applicant will include but not be limited to:
Installation of low and medium voltage equipment to current code
Remove old installation and prepare the site for new equipment
Be accountable for implementation of site safety procedures
Good communication skills and positive approach
Install & adjust Electro/Mechanical equipment e.g.: door lock assemblies, door operators,



controllers & shaft and pit equipment
Balance lift to ensure correct weight between car & counterweight
Knowledge of Modernisation and New Installation methodologies
Ensure GSM is adhered to
The successful candidate will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
A current Electrical Licence
Excellent communication skills
5+ years' experience in a similar role (desirable)
Ability to work independently
Full Driving licence
Rigging qualification (desirable)
